Peyton is 2!

How time flies! Peyton turned 2 on March 16th and we fully enjoyed celebrating with her. Family was in town for her birthday and the blessing of her baby brother. Peyton is at such a fun age. She is quite entertaining and enjoyable to interact with and watch. She speaks in sentences very clearly and has all kinds of things to say. She loves to sing too and remembers words to songs so easily. She is sleeping in a big girl bed (twin) and is 95% potty trained (Grandma gets most of the credit for that one). Although Peyton has gone potty occasionally since Christmas time, it wasn't until Grandma came to visit with her magic touch that it clicked! She wakes up from naps and bed time dry and tells us when she needs to go potty. She is rewarded with a starburst, her favorite candy, and puts a sticker on her potty chart. Thanks Grandma - it couldn't come at a better time as I really didn't want two kids in diapers.

Peyton loved opening presents this year. Her facial expressions say it all! She got spoiled with so many nice gifts from family that loves her.

She got a special plate set from Aunt Megan and Tiffany, a tunnel, tent, dress, and tool toy from Grandma and Grandpa, and a bike with training wheels from Nana and Papa (pictures to come)! She was so excited about every present.

Baby Grant tried his best to be part of the party activities, although apparently it was exhausting. His Aunts Tiffany and Megan gave him a present too. (after all it was his birthday just 2 weeks prior) Tiffany actually made the darling hat!
Special cupcakes for my special girl. Dairy free cupcakes, but really they were very good. Peyton tried hard to blow her candles out and with a little help from Grandma and Grandpa she was successful. She loves the happy birthday song and was excited to have it sung to her. She loved her cupcake too!

Peyton had a play date with friends on her actual birthday. We played with a big tub of rice finding goodies that I hid inside, had rice krispie treats, and played with other toys. These kids have a blast together. It is so cute to see them interact.
