Thanksgiving

We kicked off Thanksgiving day with making turkey place holders. Peyton was thrilled! It is a challenge to make anything since she, like any child, wants to lick her fingers and can't with her milk allergy. She loved the decorating though and got quite into it as you see.

Grant was entertained playing on the auto-motives. He LOVES anything that has a wheel, Taylor's truck included! He gets so excited and is content for an extended period of time.

Peyton helped me roll out the rolls for Thanksgiving dinner. She is Mommy's little helper whenever she gets the chance. I love it!

Boys will be boys! Taylor spent much of the weekend mornings goose hunting with Jameson and Mike.

Peyton was exposed a bit to Daddy "playing games" with birds and guns. She would say, "Daddy plays a game with the geese and gets sweaty and comes home and showers." She is a smart girl. I am not sure how she came to these conclusions, but am grateful for her innocence at this point.

We took Peyton bowling for the first time Thanksgiving weekend. She loved it. She thought it was pretty fantastic.

We showed off our amazing talents! I am not sure if bowling is any of our specialties, but we had fun!

  The day after Thanksgiving we went to the Rupert square to carry on our tradition of Docs Pizza, the lighting of the square, fireworks, and walking around the festival of trees. It is a fun night in Rupert, ID. They really do a good job. Kathy does an amazing job with the festival of trees. Her trees are always gorgeous. We had a nice thanksgiving holiday. We truly have so much to be thankful for, family being at the top of the list!
