Our long President's Day weekend getaway to Taylor's family's beautiful cabin in Island Park was simply fabulous. We finally got to partake of the joys of snow and let Peyton have her first experience it too. We went snow mobiling and saw breathtaking scenery and enjoyed relaxing while reading, watching movies, or playing the Wii. Peyton had a good reunion with her aunts and uncle that live in Utah and fully enjoyed all the playing and attention.

Too bad Peyton couldn't quite move to really see what the snow felt like since her layers were put on a little thick. She seemed to enjoy being outside though and Annie made her laugh and smile for capturing her first moments in the snow.
Big hats to fill! Peyton thought trying on Daddy's hat was kind of entertaining. Fortunately her head isn't quite that big yet.
After cutting up apples and pears into bite size pieces and Peyton simply throwing them on the floor we decided to try feeding her the grown up way and she loved it. She stood or sat still for at least 10 minutes getting bites of fruit the big girl way. It was sure cute and I am just glad to have a snack she likes other than kix, cheerios, or any kind of cracker.
Peyton had some special bonding moments with her aunts and uncle. They even got some hugs and cuddles.

Wow lady you got some amazing family shots and your weather looked fabulous. It may just be your amazing camera but I think your edible daughter has something to do with it. One day in the far future i want to experience snow mobiling as a gaze out at gorgeous scenery. glad it was a great weekend. ky will be excited to watch the video tomorrow
