Summer hit Idaho!!!

Since our weather is finally hot most days, we have embraced our outdoor opportunities for fun with friends. One way to water your lawn in this area, which was new to me, is flood irrigation. This means basically you make a pool of water on your lawn with a massive hose. Becky was watering her lawn in this way, so we let the kids stomp around in the water and blew up a pool too. They had loads of fun. Peyton especially liked climbing on the slide.

What a good helper! This was before I managed to get her swimsuit on. She's still has her cute baby belly and kissable cheeks.

We had a big play date at our house and got out all our fun toys that Nana has helped us acquire. This sand water toy was a big hit. Peyton spends lots of time daily playing with it, especially since we went to the Florida beach. She loves dumping out the sand. Kim even donated pink sand for greater entertainment for at least the girls.
The girls were interested in the seal sprinkler and tested their braveness as they inched their way close to it and then ran away in hopes not to get sprayed.

Peyton and Tyson were content with eating watermelon and hanging out in the shade.

A day in the sun always calls for a popsicle treat. The kids all play so well together. It is so fun to watch.

We are so grateful to have such wonderful friends!

At Becky's house the kids were fascinated with the water pump and for whatever reason found it to be quite humorous!
