Family comes to Visit!

Kevin, my brother, and his wife Halli and family came to Idaho at the end of July. Halli's roots are founded in Burley, ID the next city over from where we live so it was fun for her to see farm life again and show her kids a few of her childhood memories. We so enjoyed having them spend a few days with us. The kids enjoyed hanging out and playing outside among many other activities.
We of course had to go on Tractor rides where Uncle Taylor could give a cool ride to his nieces and nephews and even his brother-in-law.
Saylor and Peyton become pretty good buds! Saylor could get Peyton to laugh or smile so easily. It was so cute. All the kids played so well together.
The wave-runners are always a treat. It is so nice to have access to them just down the road at Paul and Kathy's house. We get spoiled being able to enjoy the river activities anytime. Despite a few weather challenges, we did get on the boat for a nice ride and Kevin was able to Ski!
We went to the potato packaging plant as well. I am continually amazed, no matter how many tours I go on, how the potato packaging process works and how many potatoes are being packaged each day.
It was Saylor's 4th Birthday while they were at our house and we were excited to celebrate with her. Pink frosting on her cake and pink pancakes the next morning were her requests. She is such a darling little girl!
The four wheeler was also a fun entertainer!
Going on four wheeler rides has become one of Peyton's favorite activities. She can't go past the four wheeler without pointing to it and trying to climb on. She even knows how to switch the gears and tries to drive herself. When people told me there are children driving their own four wheelers by age 5 here in Idaho, I thought to myself there is no way I will let my children drive by 5 years old. I am beginning to rethink this though as my 1 year old is already obsessed!
Cheeser!!!!!
When you ask Peyton to give you a "cheeser", this is the face you get. She can ham it up pretty well!
Kevin and Halli thanks for your efforts to spend part of your trip with us. We had so much fun and sure love you.

Nothing beats the farm for entertaining guests! It's been over 2 years since my boys were there last and they still talk about it!

Love the cheesy 4-wheeler picture!! It looks like Peyton has an absolute blast with her cousins!
