To begin our Easter celebration we went to Kim's house to dye eggs! Peyton along with her friends thought it was pretty great and was proud of her pretty eggs. She carried them around with her for the remainder of the day in an easter basket (until they broke)
To further our Easter celebration we got together with friends for an Easter party. We had an egg hunt for the kids and the Easter Bunny came. The Easter Bunny unfortunately brought mixed emotions to the crew, but we were grateful for her visit still, as what is Easter without the Easter Bunny!
Peyton shared her fear of the bunny with many of her friends and definitely expressed her feelings with some pretty sad tears!
We had Easter treats too, which were fun to decorate.
Peyton loved the Easter egg hunt and caught right on to what she needed to do and what was inside the eggs. At one point I found her sitting on the grass having a break from finding the eggs and simply enjoying what was inside them instead.
On Easter weekend, Taylor's sisters came to town and we spent time playing outside with bubbles, kite flying, and Peyton riding her very own four wheeler.
On Easter Sunday following church, we had another Easter egg hunt for Peyton just with family.
She found her Easter basket too and was pretty excited to see what was inside.
We were grateful to share Easter with friends and family. It is such a special holiday!
